If you re not comfortable with the results scrub the brush and base with a soft clean toothbrush to brush away anything that s left.
If the brush has a soft padding at the base where the bristles attach to the brush dip. When it s all done take it out and if you notice a dirty spot just wipe it off with a rag. Or else you can take another comb to remove the hair easily. To clean hairbrushes and combs start by removing any hair that s lodged in the bristles with your fingers. Fill up the sink or bowl with warm water add a small amount of clarifying or gentle shampoo like good.
Mix dish soap with warm water to create a mild cleaning solution then dip an old toothbrush in the solution and scrub the hairbrush or comb down thoroughly before rinsing it with clean water. Blend one teaspoon of baking soda one teaspoon of shampoo and one cup of water together. Take a wisk and mix it all up otherwise the shampoo will just sink to the bottom. After soaping soaking and swishing rinse the brush thoroughly under warm water and study your work. Let it soak for 3 to 5 minutes.
